HUMAN RIGHTS POLICY
1. Introduction
Artema Concept, as a sustainable design brand, recognizes and supports full respect for fundamental human rights. We are firmly committed to actively contributing to protecting the dignity, freedom and well-being of every person we interact with – employee, collaborator, supplier or community member.
This policy is based on:

UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs);

Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union;

ISO 26000 standard on social responsibility.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all company operations, in Romania or internationally, and aims to:

Artema Concept employees and collaborators;

Suppliers, subcontractors and business partners;

Visitors, customers and people indirectly affected by our activities;

Any project or initiative in which Artema Concept is directly involved or financially supported.
3. Fundamental principles
3.1 Dignity, equity and non-discrimination

We recognize that all human beings are equal in dignity and rights;

We do not tolerate any form of discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, gender identity, parental or social status;

We actively promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in external collaborations.
3.2 The right to decent work

No sanctions are applied for opinions expressed within the limits of respect and the law;

We support the right to free association and the establishment of forms of collective representation.
3.4 Health, safety and well-being

We ensure periodic training of employees regarding occupational health and safety regulations;

We constantly assess psychosocial risks, occupational stress and emotional balance;

We promote wellbeing initiatives: ergonomic spaces, empathetic internal dialogue, feedback sessions and on-demand counseling.
3.5 Privacy and data protection

We respect the confidentiality of personal and health information;

Data is collected legally, minimally and only with informed consent;

We apply policies and technical measures in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
3.6 Impact on the supply chain

We evaluate suppliers according to clear ethical and social criteria;

We request the signing of the Code of Conduct and the assumption of our own policy of respecting human rights;

We only collaborate with partners who demonstrate compliance with minimum standards;

We audit strategic partners at regular intervals.
4. Proactive measures

We organize at least one annual training session on human rights and social responsibility;

We communicate relevant policies internally and externally in a transparent manner;

We encourage open feedback from employees and collaborators;

We periodically develop CSR reports that include indicators related to human rights (e.g. % women in management positions, % suppliers evaluated ethically, etc.).
5. Reporting channels and redress mechanisms
Individuals who observe a violation of this policy can report it by:

We investigate each complaint impartially and discreetly;

There will be no retaliation against individuals who report in good faith;

Remedial measures may include: conciliation, compensation, sanctioning, interruption of collaboration, notification to authorities.
6. Monitoring, accountability and transparency

The company's founder, Elena Artene, is directly responsible for implementing this policy;

We conduct an annual internal self-assessment regarding respect for human rights;

The policy is included in onboarding, training sessions and partnership packages;

We publish the policy on www.artema-concept.com and update it annually or whenever necessary.
